There’s nothing quite as uplifting as a clean city, and that is exactly what Parish Proud, in partnership with the City of Broussard is aiming to accomplish. Parish Proud is looking to make sure that the Broussard community is vibrant and inviting, and they are asking residents of Broussard and surrounding areas to help.
On March 5th, 2022, there will be a cleanup day in Broussard to beautify the city from 8 am to 10 am. This will be a perfect opportunity for an outdoor family activity, service hours for school organizations, or even just to give back to the community. Interested volunteers can sign up as individuals or a team by March 4th.
Parish Proud and the City of Broussard will provide grabbers, vests, gloves, and trash bags. As thank you to the volunteers for helping the community, breakfast and coffee will be available for volunteers at the Celebrity Theater in Broussard.
Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. We look forward to seeing the community come together and get Broussard looking clean and green for the upcoming spring season!
