The City of Broussard continues to thrive as one of Acadiana’s most dynamic and business-friendly communities, and this fall the city will come together to celebrate its progress, culture, and community spirit during Broussard Day on October 17, 2025, at the Broussard Event Center located at 406 E. Madison Street.
Hosted in partnership with the Broussard Economic Development Corporation, the Broussard Chamber of Commerce, and Discover Broussard, this event is part of the Grand Réveil Acadien, The Great Acadian Awakening, a statewide celebration of Louisiana’s Acadian heritage. It is a day designed to honor Broussard’s roots while highlighting the city’s bright economic future.
The day will begin with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m. From noon to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy live performances by Le Fres Michot Band and the Holiday Playgirls, along with vendors, photo opportunities, and other activities. The festivities will showcase the city’s vibrant mix of tradition, community, and entrepreneurial spirit.
