Broussard has been named the first Development Ready Community in Lafayette Parish.
Louisiana Economic Development has put Broussard through its paces in a rigorous evaluation process. The result is Broussard now has a clear understanding of its strengths as a city, thus allowing it to be listed on the LED’s website as a development-ready community. This will mean an increase in business and opportunities for the City of Broussard as a whole. Lafayette Parish is the 47th participant in the program. This is a momentous step in a long line of success for Broussard.
