For years, the Broussard Chamber of Commerce has done a fantastic job on Fourth of July celebrations to help bring the community together for a family-friendly event. This year will be no different. Recently, the Broussard Chamber of Commerce has announced its plans for this year’s show which will mark the 18th Annual Independence Day Festival.
Although ice chests and outside food and drink will not be allowed in, food and beverages, including those of the alcoholic variety, will be available for sale when the gates open at 5 p.m. The event will include activities for the kids, a DJ, and live music by Louisiana Red for everyone to enjoy. Don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs, but please leave your pets at home.
The firework show will start promptly at 9 p.m. This choreographed show will commemorate our great nation and is sure to be the perfect end to your family’s 4th of July celebration.
The 2022 Broussard Independence Day Festival was the largest 4th of July celebration to date. The Broussard Economic Development Corporation and the Broussard Chamber of Commerce are expecting this year’s celebration to be even bigger and better. We are looking forward to this year’s festivities and hope to see everyone there!
