The City of Broussard, the Broussard Chamber of Commerce, and the Broussard Economic Development Corporation invite residents and visitors from across Acadiana to join us for one of the biggest community celebrations of the year, the Broussard Independence Day Festival on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at St. Julien Park.
This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as America commemorates its 250th Anniversary, marking two and a half centuries since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The Broussard Independence Day Festival will bring our community together to honor our nation’s history, celebrate our freedoms, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
An Evening of Family Fun
Festival gates will open at 5:00 PM, offering a variety of activities for all ages. Families can enjoy kid-friendly entertainment, community fellowship, food vendors, and patriotic festivities throughout the evening.

Live Music by Sideshow
The celebration will feature a live performance by Sideshow at 6:00 PM, providing the soundtrack for an exciting evening filled with energy, community spirit, and patriotic pride. Festival attendees can relax, dance, and enjoy great music while taking in the festive atmosphere.
Spectacular Fireworks Show
The evening will conclude with the highly anticipated Don’s Automotive Group Fireworks Show at 9:00 PM. This dazzling display will light up the Broussard sky as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday and honor the freedoms that unite us all.
