We are excited to share an important update that reflects the growth and vitality of our beloved city. Our unique blend of small-town charm, strategic location, and pro-business climate continues to make Broussard an ideal place to live, work, and invest.
Mayor Bourque’s Vision for Sustainable Growth
Mayor Ray Bourque shared his thoughts on the announcement:
“I am pleased to announce that our new population estimate for the City of Broussard, Louisiana is 17,148 residents. This population growth is a major factor for the continued need to invest in our infrastructure and city services. Our great city continues to grow every day, and we have a bright future.”
Mayor Bourque’s administration continues to focus on ensuring that Broussard’s growth is supported by robust infrastructure, enhanced city services, and responsible planning. The new numbers reinforce the urgency and importance of continued investment in roads, utilities, drainage, public safety, and quality-of-life amenities.
